Due to a variety of factors, both professional and personal, we here at DCMU have been unable to keep the writing commitments of this site. However, we're actively seeking to remedy that situation. DC/Marvel United will be taking a short hiatus to re-evaluate and re-tool our site, returning to you with exciting new stories in 2007! We'll be making minor tweaks to the site to increase functionality and visibility. We're also going to change the format of our stories to make them more easily accessible to new readers.

Don't stop visiting here though, because we won't! We'll be posting new content here frequently, even as we work on getting new stories to you. That means new artwork, Bios, interviews, and other fun artifacts from the DCMU. We'll also be making big announcements--like the first new title to come from our new recruits program! So don't be afraid to send us submissions during the break as well!

Finally, our readers are a very important part of our relaunch. Please, if you like what we're doing here, get the word out to every comic fan, every fanfic fan, every crossover fiction fan, everyone you can! Readers really fuel our desire to produce more stories; if we know you're here and actively participating, we'll try that much harder to make ourselves better! To that end, we'll be introducing new prize incentives for readers who post smart, thoughtful responses to our work--meaning everyone wins!
